Murphy, a decorated law enforcement officer and the first responding officer during the 2012 Sikh Temple of Wisconsin shooting, brings a powerful and personal perspective on hate-motivated violence. Having survived life-threatening injuries during the tragic incident, Lt. Murphy has become an advocate for education, awareness, and resilience in the face of hate.
